I would like to share my concern regarding the description of removal of a cap for the purpose of accessing the site of a tooth decay. Is this the only option I have? . As one who is 81 years old and learning this procedure could be over
$ 1100 for the removal of a cap and an unknown amount for the drilling and placement of a new cap to be more than a person my age is prepared to pay. Were I younger, I would probably not responded this way, but surely there is a less expensive way to deal with this procedure. Could only the portion of the cap that hides the decay site be drilled away? Not being familiar with your work, I'm in no position to make suggestions, but my concern is only to address
the issue of my age and the cost of the procedure.
